The Cortland Standard seeks a full-time news editor. We want it all: a seasoned journalist who can lead and train young reporters; an all-around performer who can edit a story one minute, and write a story the next. We want someone who can spearhead efforts to increase our digital presence, from video and podcasts to social media. We want someone excited to do the job today, and eager to learn how to do the job tomorrow.
We dare you to make yourself better, and us, too. We're experienced trainers looking to expand our tool box. If you have the skills, we'll use them. If this is your first effort at newsroom leadership, we'll give you skills to build a career.
