The Daily Hampshire Gazette seeks a full-time photojournalist to be part of a hard-working and talented team covering Hampshire County in western Massachusetts. 

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in shooting local news, sports, features, breaking news and video. This person would join an experienced photo editor who shoots regularly and be expected to work an afternoon/early evening shift and weekends. 

We are looking for someone with a creative eye, enthusiasm for finding stories and a passion for local journalism. The ideal candidate should be adept at meeting deadlines while writing informative captions and occasional short news stories. This is a fast-paced, deadline driven environment requiring strong multi-tasking and people skills. If you've worked at least one year as a photojournalist and are experienced in Photoshop and Photo Mechanics, then we want to hear from you. Drone skills and an FAA remote pilot certificate are a plus.
