We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Creative Advertising Director to join our team. This versatile role combines marketing strategy, client relationship management, ad production, and creative design to deliver impactful digital and print advertising solutions for clients and internal campaigns. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has managed a team, with a passion for both strategy and creativity, capable of managing multiple projects and tasks from concept to completion.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team who serves as a liaison between sales/account representatives and clients.

  • Manage external freelance resources for creative design.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their advertising needs and provide customized solutions, working with freelance and internal design resources.

  • Design and produce compelling ad campaigns across various platforms (digital, print, social media).

  • Manage end-to-end ad production (digital and print), ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

  • Monitor and  communicate upcoming deadlines to all stakeholders.

  • Ensure there is regular communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns utilizing existing technology and software to maximum potential.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and suggest improvements.

  • Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and emerging advertising technologies to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.

Required Skills: 

  • Ability to work and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.

  • Proven people management skills

  • Ability to handle and resolve problems with a positive attitude.

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience plus 10+ years in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in marketing, advertising production, and creative design.

  • Strong proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience in a news/media company

  • Proficiency with Newspaper Manager, Slack, Creatopy, PandaDoc


Must be local to Greenville, SC. No relocation assistance will be provided.
