The Astorian, one of the Pacific Northwest's best small newspapers, has an immediate opening for a multimedia journalist in a stunningly beautiful and photogenic environment where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean.

The successful candidate will be an excellent photographer with the ability to tell a story visually in print and online. Video and multimedia experience are required. The preferred candidate should have the ability to write and contribute to our news, feature and sports footprint. We have a photography drone, and you will be expected to earn FAA certification to fly it. In addition to contributing to The Astorian and other news, business and entertainment publications, the candidate will also shoot photos and videos for Our Coast, a yearly lifestyle magazine.
