Looking to work with the top daily newspaper in Wyoming? The Sheridan Press needs a features reporter to join its team.
The features reporter position covers a smattering of feature and hard news throughout Sheridan County and the greater northeast Wyoming region, including business, outdoors, arts/entertainment/culture and community news.
The Sheridan Press publishes six days a week in print and online platforms, with a bountiful social media, online and community presence. Reporters are supported through mentoring, flexible hours and a mix of pitching stories and workshopping ideas with leadership and the editorial team.
A strong understanding of community journalism is a must for anyone applying.
Reporters work in an office located in the center of Sheridan, with ample access to everything the county has to offer, including outdoor adventures, a hopping live music and craft brew scene, cozy coffee shops and constant activities from which to fill a weekend to-do list.
