Description:
The Abilene Reflector Chronicle of Abilene, Kansas, has an immediate opening for a news reporter.
The person must be aggressive and adept at setting priorities and reordering them as needed, particularly under deadline pressure or as circumstances change. The person should have strong editing and writing skills, page design and pagination skills and experience with multimedia journalism is a must.
The person must have sharp reporting instincts, outstanding news judgment, an ability to report and write quickly in a fast-moving atmosphere. A curiosity about the community and its people is vital.
The candidate must have the ability to work productively in a team setting.
Salary based on experience.
