INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER FOR HEDGE FUND The hedge fund is a thirteen-year old investment fund based in the Washington, DC area. We are currently looking for someone with a well-developed background in investigative business journalism, ideally with top-tier publications like The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Fortune, etc. The nature of the position would be to conduct primary research on existing positions and new ideas. An important aspect of our firm’s research process involves reaching out to a variety of sources, including ex-employees, competitors, customers, and suppliers to help frame our understanding of the business. The ideal candidate would have experience with finding, developing and interviewing sources. Business experience is strongly preferred. Compensation will be competitive.
