Traveling Staff Photographer

Journal Communications Inc. a media company based in Nashville, TN is growing quickly and is seeking photographers. We value great photography and use it well. We currently produce over 100 publications and over 30 websites and digital products.

This position requires extensive travel. Our photography standards are high and location lighting is a must. Ability to think on one’s feet and communicate effectively in a mobile work environment is key. This is a salaried position that is commensurate with experience.  We offer medical, dental vision and disability coverage as well as 401K.

Requirements:

- Photojournalism or visual communications degree or equivalent experience (1-3 years)

- Ability to pass a background check

- Based in Nashville
