ECT News Network seeks a technology editor with a minimum of three years professional experience as a technology editor or reporter. This is a full-time position working remotely -- Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Pacific Time.

To be considered for this position, candidates must demonstrate broad knowledge of the products, companies and trends that drive the tech industry. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly grasp the essence of news items and determine fresh angles; check facts; write clear and creative headlines; make structural and stylistic revisions; and flawlessly copy-edit.

Responsibilities include processing the day's news from assignment to publication, as well as managing the development of features, columns, product reviews, company bylines and other types of content from start to finish.
