The Internet division at Capital Gazette Newspapers maintains two for-credit internship slots each season.

The Capital is a seven-day daily newspaper in Annapolis, the home of the United States Naval Academy and seat of Maryland``s state government.

The positions give interns experience in written and video reporting, with flash work strongly encouraged. These are not the average obit-retyping, agate-filing slots that most papers offer. Instead, these appointments can be the catalyst for a great portfolio. The internships are unpaid. Help finding housing and transportation is available. Equipment and training resources are provided.
