We are looking for a part-time intern for 2 to 3 days per week, and are willing to work around your schedule. We are committed to furthering our interns' careers. Unlike interships at larger magazines, here your time will be evenly divided between opportunities to write and be edited for both the online and print periodicals. as well as administrative tasks for the managing editor. In addition to a chance to build your portfolio, this internship offers the opportunity to see all aspects of a magazine operation on a smaller scale, as we handle subscription fulfillment, production, and marketing out of our editorial offices. There will be opportunities to visit the art directors at their studios to see how the layout process works, as well as invitations to museum openings, gallery exhibitions, and other related events.
If you are looking to develop your critical writing skills and gain valuable experience in the field, all the while building your portfolio of published clips, please get in touch with us. Send your resume, a cover letter, and two or three writing samples to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
