Voyage for Health is an online portal for the world’s finest health and wellness escapes.  We are currently searching three journalism interns to assist with our web and PR activities. You may work remotely, but must adhere to weekly deadlines.  If you have a passion for writing, enjoying searching the internet for the latest and greatest, we would love to hear from you.

 

Requirements:

• Intern should be Journalism, News Media and Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Business majors with experience on the Web and a solid understanding of social media.

• Possess skills in writing, editing, and research

• You have a strong academic record.

• You are fluent in English and possess excellent writing and communication skills.

• Advanced skills in other languages - particularly Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, and Russian - are an asset.

• Ability to provide 1-3 samples articles to demonstrate writing abilities. These samples can be class assignments

 

 

Responsibilities

Research relevant content ideas and pursue them to final pieces

Write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar

Press release and blogging campaigns 

Outreach to new partnerships via press release and blogging strategies 

Pitching to the media 

Researching new media and blogging contacts and conducting outreach
