The Georgia House Democratic Caucus is currently seeking skilled and energetic interns for this summer and fall. Interns will work directly under the supervision of the Communications Director and will assist in the 2012 political campaign season, as well as preparation for the 2013 Legislative Session.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Script Writing
- Media Outreach
- Speech Preparation
- Research Compilation
- Data Entry
- Assisting in Updating and Maintaining Social Media
Qualifications: Familiarity with Microsoft Word. Experience with social media. Strong candidate is a self-starter, a quick learner and one who thrives in a team-oriented environment but can work independently when needed. Journalism background is preferred but not required.
