Pathufind Media is looking for an intern to join efforts to re-launch a highly-popular political blog that focuses on urban conservatism, politics and related subject matter. In addition to working on the web site, interns will also pitch ideas for a weekly online television show, while helping to shape all associated content.

The new media internship is designed for political science, sociology and journalism majors, as it incorporates new and social media. Interns will provide support to Pathufind Media’s editorial board. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: researching and finding newsworthy videos of political issues and candidates, monitoring media activity, assisting in the generation of content for a popular, conservative web site and pitching ideas for a regularly-scheduled online political talk show.

Requirements:

• Highly motivated with an interest in the American political process • Have experience or interest in working with social and/or new media • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an American college or university • A six to twelve-month commitment • An eight to 20 hour-per-week commitment, unless other arrangements are discussed and agreed upon
