Broadcast Journalism Internship

Why make coffee when you can make headlines? The Institute for Humane Studies is looking for liberty-minded students interested in or experienced in broadcast journalism for our paid spring, summer, and fall internship programs.

Interns will be placed with an experienced producer at a major media network or news production house. Last year we sponsored internships at CNN in Atlanta, ABC``s `20/20` in Manhattan, and Fox News in Los Angeles, among others.

Prior experience is a plus, but not required. Ideal candidates will have an interest in individual liberty and the free-market. Advanced undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Interns will receive a stipend to cover travel to the internship site, and a stipend for their work.

Application materials must be submitted through www.TheIHS.org/journalism and received by November 15 for spring placements or by January 31 for summer placements. Applying for this internship will also allow you to apply for our print and investigative journalism internships. Applications submitted through email or fax will not be considered.
