Borderless Living, a startup online magazine with a soon-to-launch highly visible website focused on international lifestyles, travel and real estate trends, is looking for interns to join our global team of seasoned journalists with backgrounds at The New York Times, Money Magazine, Fodor``s Travel and the Financial Times of London.

The primary responsibilities of the intern will be to create and maintain MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Bebo, Digg accounts and other social media sites for the magazine and to generate buzz and interest in our site through participation in dialogue on message boards, forums and other online interactive channels. Other responsibilities will include posting online articles, classified ads and contributing to blogs, which will allow the student to acquire bylines.

A passion for new media and an understanding of social media tools and viral, word of mouth and grass roots Internet marketing practices is a must. Candidate must also be a reliable fast-learner with strong writng and research skills and the ability to work independently. An interest in global lifestyles (living, working or study abroad) is a plus.

These internships will, in effect, be tryouts to fill a paid positions later. Interns are expected to commit to 10 to 15 hours a week for at least 3 months. Work will be done remotely in a collaborative virtual enviornment, with communication via email and Instant Messages. We offer a small weekly stipend depending on time commitment.
